My Sister, MYSELF – Blog tour
‘My Sister, Myself is an emotive and captivating story about the troubled lives of two sisters divided by the experiences they share which leads into a thoughtful and fascinating examination of belonging and attachment. This wonderful book was a sheer pleasure to read from start to finish and I wholeheartedly recommend it.’ ~ Karen Cole

“At first I wondered if she’d lived through the experiences.. herself because she brought it to life vividly and weaved it all into a fascinating story… a well written, darned good read…” ~ Mrs Bloggs Books
Rattling good review to start the blog tour for my novel ‘My Sister, Myself’. Thrilled by how #mrsbloggsbooks ‘gets’ my novel and understands what I intended so well!

Marlow Book Launch of ‘My Sister, Myself’
We welcomed the audience, mostly representing various local book clubs, with a glass of wine and nibbles. It even included one well-read and very well-behaved puppy!
There was lively discussion and plenty of interesting questions following a talk about my publishing journey and how the novel came to be written. Such a sparky collection of people – I really enjoyed myself and I think they did too!
The lady buying a book (above) was sent along by her daughter in New Zealand! The daughter’s friend in Bristol had interviewed me the week before on behalf of SilverWood Books and the Marlow launch was mentioned. The interviewer remembered that the mother of her friend in NZ lived in Marlow and set the ball rolling!
The Sisters are getting about!
I’m delighted that, on Thursday 18th October, Marlow Bookshop are hosting an event. It starts at 6.30pm with a glass of wine, followed by a short talk and readings, questions/discussion, plus signing – and buying! – of books.
I hope to welcome you there if you are in the Marlow area of Buckinghamshire.
Conversation with Jill Treseder about her new novel My Sister, Myself
Ian Hobbs of Devon Book Club – a brilliant network of writers and readers – made this video interview with me at the weekend, talking about my new novel, My Sister, Myself. – how it came to be written and some of the themes.
Dittisham Book launch for My Sister, Myself
Had a brilliant book launch at the Red Lion in Dittisham. It was such a change to be outside on the decking on a warm evening with the River Dart as backdrop. (Mental note to self, always to publish in summer in future!) A lovely group gathered to drink wine and even listen to me talking about how I came to write My Sister, Myself. Brigitte and Penny served excellent nibbles and plenty of books were sold!

Readers might enjoy this interview I did with Diana Milne for The Review at the beginning of April – I had fun!
Looking forward to Summer!
Excited to report that the new novel – those Hungarian sisters at last – is with the proof reader. Hoping for a launch date in June or early July. Watch this space! Don’t expect a highly political novel – the title is ‘My Sister Myself‘ – which tells you what’s in the tin: an exploration of loss and relationships with a flavour of the 1950s.
